A fabulous copper stash....of Vintage Copper Ale/cider jugs or haystacks?

A collection of eight graduated jugs originally made to measure ale and cider in pubs and taverns, an interesting piece of history in the day's gone by, wonderful!

They range in size from one gallon to quarter gill and have the imperial lead seal stamped onto the rim, a sign of an official inspection to check the measures were correct.

Although these magnificent examples are later in date they truly look great teamed up on an old Welsh dresser or hanging on the beams in an old converted barn.

Interior pub decoration at it's best.....
