Sitting comfortably his character captures a natural poise.

This particular model with markings to the base by the artist and stamp 'Bing & Grondahl'.

The artist Jens Peter Dahl Jensen (1873-1960) a Danish ceramicist and artist worked as a modelling master for the company 1897-1917.

Bing & Grondahl merged with Royal Copenhagen in 1987.
