The kitchens were often the ‘hub’ of the household, practical, busy and glowing with polished copper and brass cooking pans in true Downton Abbey style. Stockpots preserve pans, mixing bowls, fish kettles and milk pans….argh come on cut me a slice of that Victoria sandwich!!!!!!
