The Tilley lamp derives from John Tilley's invention of the hydro-pneumatic blowpipe in 1813 in England.
The company started work with paraffin (kerosene) as a fuel for lamps. In the 1920's started making the lamp that made it's name famous.
Lovely condition, great as a feature indoors or outside in the garden/man-shed.
